Termite Infestation Probability Zones Map

Here is a map of termite areas in the USA. Different species of termites thrive in varying climatic conditions. So this means that the type of termite which can be likely to infest your own home will vary depending on the region in which you live.

The warmer states will typically have a higher number of different termite varieties, larger termite populations and consequently – more incidences of termite home invasions in general.

Termite Infestation Probability Zones Map:

Termite Infestation Probability Zones (TIP Zones) are normally utilized to determine if termite inspection and / or prevention is necessary for protecting peoples homes against termites. A USA Termite Infestation Zone Map was developed by the US Forest Service a number of years ago and is a depiction of the US Forest Service’s scientific estimate of all the different termite probability zones as based on the studies undertaken by the Forest Service.

Below is a Termite Infestation Probability Zones Map. This map pictured here is for predicting the probability of subterranean termite species only. The darker the color – the higher the risk of termite infestation.
